Description
Real life kept me from sketching and doodling for awhile. I was afraid my drawing skill may had become more ridiculous. By chance I bought Kaoru Mori: Anything and Something anthology book. For those who doesn't know her, she is famous for manga Victorian Romance Emma and Bride Story. The book is available in English: [link] And on page 166, there is character drawing of two girls in school uniform, I liked the design so I used one of them as my practice sketch. The result is that while I need to work on proportion I still maintain previous level of drawing. Overall I am happy.

Look at and study comparative anatomy & physiology and comparative proportions of male/female figures.
Since your into manga, there is a series of 'How to' and 'Techniques' by Hikaru Hayashi published by Graphic-Sha(distributed by Books Nippan/Digital Manga distribution) I would recommend "How to Draw Manga: Bishoujo *Pretty gals" They have male series as well to compare off of.
One of my best investments references that I continually look through. (If you're lucky, the library might have it..)
